DO TATTOOS HURT?
-The age old question! Getting a tattoo requires a needle to rapidly pierce an area of skin, depositing ink each time. That being said, there will be some level of discomfort, but "pain" depends on the individual person and their tolerance. Remember--Official Ink offers SpeedNumb! A topical anesthetic, SpeedNumb can be applied an hour before the service to "numb" the area that will be tattooed. Stop by today and let your artist know you're interested!
HOW LONG WILL MY TATTOO TAKE?
-Just like each person is unique--so is the tattoo that goes on their skin! Tattoo time is based on size, the detail of the design, and most importantly the client. A complete tattoo experience requires the artist to consult with the client, sketch/stencil the design, setup, complete the actual tattoo, and provide the client with proper aftercare directions. Given that, a tattoo can take as little as 30 minutes, or could stretch amongst days/sessions. Book a consultation with your favorite Official for more information!
WHAT SHOULD I DO TO TAKE CARE OF MY TATTOO/PIERCING (AFTERCARE)?
-After finishing your tattoo or piercing, your artist will provide you with detailed aftercare instructions. Download the Official Ink App for more information!
DO Y'ALL PROVIDE PIERCINGS?
-Yes we do! Pull up to either location to get a facial, body, intimate or dermal piercing today!
WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION?
-We are open Monday-Saturday 11am-9pm. By Sunday we are open by appointment only.
CAN I GET A TATTOO/PIERCING IF I'M UNDER 18, BUT I HAVE PARENTAL CONSENT?
-Unfortunately, Official Ink is only able to accommodate adults for their services--you must be 18, even if you have parental consent.
ARE WALK-INS ACCEPTED?
-Walk-ins are accepted at both locations for small/basic tattoos! They will be completed by our junior artists, and are subject to artist availability.
HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?
-Scroll up and click the "Book the Officials" button under the main menu -- or you can call for assistance!
I NEED TO RESCHEDULE/CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT--WHAT SHOULD I DO?
-Rescheduling/cancellations are accepted up to 24 hours in advance of the appointment--please contact the artist. If you need to reschedule/cancel less than 24 hours before the appointment, it will be subject to your deposit forfeiture.
HOW DO I BECOME A TATTOO/PIERCING ARTIST?
-Requirements vary based on location and local laws, but all artists at Official Ink are required to have completed an apprenticeship
